One evening after my son had bought some brushes and paint, he asked me to paint with him. This was my first time with the brush and I loved it immediately. 

Painting has given me a therapy like outlet for my creative side. It didn’t take long to fall in love with all things art. My favorite mediums to work with are vibrant watercolor and oils. I have always loved flowers, the beach, salt marshes and birds. Painting allows me to express their beauty through my eyes. I look forward to classes with my teacher, Lynda English, and call it my art therapy.

I am a wife, mother, GiGi, retired elementary teacher, cancer survivor x2, ascending aortic aneurysm dissection survivor, stroke survivor, artist and most importantly follower of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. 

I invite you to enjoy the result of one of my therapy sessions and encourage you to pick up a brush, too.  

As Bob Ross always said, “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents.”
